i am a computer programmer and artist living in london. i'm currently working towards my msc in computing from goldsmiths college, university of london, and present a selection of my work on this site.
i create original computational systems, simulations, services and artworks. contemporary programming methodologies and modern approaches to aesthetics underpin my philosophy of creating elegant works.
i have a background as a classical musician; i like to write minimalist and post-modernist music in my spare time and have had my work performed by professional ensembles. i also love 19th century art; ukiyo-e, art nouveau and the pre-raphaelite brotherhood are all fixations of mine.
i've worked with talented artists, programmers, scientists and writers to create unique computer systems, simulations, experiments and services. why not check out my portfolio for some examples?
i started working with EEG-based brain computer interfaces as an undergraduate, and have had the privilege of working with the capable members of the EAVI group at goldsmiths college, university of london. my current interests are towards enabling new modes of interaction for consumers and other end-users.
i have collaborated with photographers, directors, illustrators and writers across a variety of mixed-media static and interactive pieces. my own individual work is chiefly concerned with information theory and how it influences our social, cultural and practical processes.
